Event Details

This course teaches Leasing Professionals what they need to know to adhere to fair housing laws and ADA regulations when working with both prospective and current residents. To work effectively in the apartment industry and avoid being guilty of discriminatory housing practices, you must know and understand local, state and federal laws and guidelines. The course discusses federal laws and is not state-specific. Key concepts taught in this module include: - Understand and apply Fair Housing laws when working with prospective and current residents - Follow proper procedures to ensure that a prospective resident is qualified - Work with leases and other contracts Note: This is an individual course module for the CALP credential.
