PAA 2022 Events

PAA hosts a variety of events statewide and regionally throughout the year to engage all members of your company. Becoming an active member within the Association provides endless opportunities.

Business Exchange:

Thursday, January 13^th Normandy Farms, Blue Bell

The event is on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited registration. PAA member suppliers will have a limited amount of time with the apartment owner and executive team. [Approximately 15 management companies]. The format is a reverse ‘trade show’ with a ‘speed dating format’. This is an excellent event for PAA Supplier Partners to have one-on-one time with apartment management companies and decision-makers. The event is a PAA PAC [Political Action Committee] fundraiser event. The registration payment for this event goes directly to the PAC. Payment must be in the form of a personalized check and payable to the PAA PAC prior to the event.

Wednesday, March 16^th Open Registration

The Best of Apartment Living is a friendly competition amongst apartment communities. This is the apartment community’s opportunity to be acknowledged for being outstanding and recognized in the multifamily industry. This is a statewide event, with the winners being announced at the annual ‘Best in Apartment Living Awards’ program to be held in three regions of the state.

Maintenance Mania:

Wednesday, March 23^rd Pennsylvania Farm Show & Expo Center, Harrisburg

Calling all Service Technicians and Service Managers! This is an event for you! PAA feels that maintenance service techs have been heroes during the pandemic and beyond. Maintenance Mania® is truly a great event to showcase maintenance service techs! We understand this is an event you are looking forward to and a day off from the property! The event is a timed, skilled competition with stations focused on skills that techs perform daily. Each station is timed. The tech with the best time wins and could compete on a national level at the National Apartment Association conference Apartmentalized in San Diego!

PAA Trade Show & Education Conference:

Tuesday, April 5^th Valley Forge Convention and Casino Resort

The conference is a one-day show hosting educational sessions for members to attend and receive continuing education credits while learning about products and services featured for the multifamily industry with over 200 exhibitors on the showroom floor! The show is the largest East-Coast multifamily industry show!

Capitol Conference:

Monday, April 25^th – Wednesday, April 26^th

Arrive Monday night in Harrisburg so you’re ready to go with a kick-off breakfast on Tuesday, April 26^th, meeting local legislators at the state Capitol, lunch, and PAC fundraiser dinner, PAA committee meetings, and much more!

Best of Apartment Living Competition:

Begins May 1 – August 31

For all apartment communities who enter in the Best of Awards program, the shops begin May 1^st!

Spring Shindig and Derby Happy Hour:

Thursday, May 19^th Treehouse World, West Chester

Don’t miss out on this event with live music, food & beer truck, and great team-building challenges. Don’t miss out on the 2^nd annual Derby car race!

Golf Tournament and Outing:

Monday, June 6^th Philadelphia Cricket Club, Flourtown

This very popular event traditionally sells out on the first day registration opens! PAA takes over two 18-hole courses at the Cricket Club. It’s an all-day event kicking off the outing with a delicious BBQ lunch, a shotgun to the golf tournament, and ending with a surf and turf dinner at the clubhouse. This is the perfect opportunity for supplier members to ask apartment owners and guests to the outing. If you don’t play golf, you can attend the dinner portion of the day event!

Summer Shindig and Derby Happy Hour:

Thursday, June 16^th Mongiovi and Sons Office, Pittsburgh

Join fellow PAA members for a chance to network and team build! Don’t miss out and sign up to participate in the derby car race! PAA members can create and design a wacky derby car to compete in a race. Fastest time wins great prizes for the team!

TopGolf Happy Hour Pittsburgh:

Join us for a fun happy hour at TopGolf! Backed by popular demand and a unique happy hour, giving you the opportunity to team build and meet fellow PAA members!

Golf Outing:

Monday, September 19^th Lancaster Country Club, Lancaster

PAA will once again be at Lancaster Country Club for a day at the links! Join us for this top golf course! It’s perfect to ask an apartment owner or decision-maker as a supplier or a great way to reward your employees.

Best of Apartment Living Awards Program:

September 14^th: Pittsburgh Region September 22^nd: Hershey/Central Region October 6^th: Eastern Region

All PAA members are welcome to attend the Best of Apartment Living Awards Program in three different locations and on three different nights. Each event, the apartment communities entered in the contest will learn their fate as apartment community winners will be announced in each region’s events! Do you have what it takes?

Get a wide selection of education courses in one place. PAA training and education for all on-site personnel. Dates will be confirmed.

All in-person events listed for 2022 will depend upon our current pandemic and our ability to host regarding the state of Pennsylvania’s mandates. At any time, an event can be canceled out of the control of PAA. Your safety is our top concern. If the event is permitted, all safety protocols will be followed and announced prior to the individual event.
