Regional Advisory Council State Event Sponsor:

The PAA is hosting our First Annual State College Donation Drive from April 26th, through June 10th, 2024.  You may register to be a participant through May 10th, 2024, but we will accept donations through June 10th.

The Penn State University students will soon be wrapping up their year and successfully moving on.  Students will be ready to donate food and furniture to the area food banks and Habitat for Humanity.  The PAA would like to assist our area members and non-members with organizing the food and furniture collections at your properties.  What a great way to give back as a group representing the rental housing industry in State College!  This event is sure to make your hearts sing.

The food and furniture donation drive will start on Friday, April 26th, and continue through Monday, June 10th, 2024.

PAA will work with Move for Hunger to donate the food items as collected to the local State College Food Bank.

Food Pick-up Information:

If you need a scheduled pick-up of food items, please call Mike Henderson at BluSky @ 814.810.1540.  

To drop off your donated food items the address is:

How to Register?

  1. Login to the PAA website and register for the donation ticket choice. Your ticket choice allows our team to track the number of properties participating in the donation event.
  2. Login to the PAA website and register for the chill ticket choice.  Your ticket is good for one admittance into the party, which will include, 3 drink tickets, food, cornhole, prizes, and fun! (Please note that if you are registering to play cornhole, you must register your teams in advance.  The cornhole ticket registration will include the admittance tickets to the event.)
    1. $25 per person to attend minus cornhole registration.
    2. $50 cornhole registration and includes 2 tickets to the event.
    3. Registration for this event will open on May 14th, 2024.

How will this Work?

  1. Please register as a participating property for the food drive ONLY, the furniture drive ONLY, or BOTH.
  2. At the time of registration for the food drive please complete the Donation Drive Additional Information pertaining to food drop-off or pick-up.
  3. Call Habitat for Humanity to schedule furniture pick-up.
  4. An e-mail will be sent to you after registration that will allow you to market the drives to your residents, along with artwork and fliers to share at your properties.
  5. Register and attend the CHILL Event on June 13th, 2024, at Doggie's Pub from 4-8pm.

***This event will be followed by a Donation Chill Party on June 13th, 2024 from 4-8pm at Doggie's Pub to celebrate all of our efforts in giving back to the region.

Registration for the Donation Chill Party event will open on May 14th, 2024.
