2024 PAA Committees: 

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:

The DE&I Committee coordinates activities related to increasing the overall diversity of PAA’s
membership, and to ensure PAA is an inclusive organization with programming to meet the needs of our diverse stakeholder community. This is a high-engaging committee, seeking members to contribute content, be comfortable with uncomfortable conversations, and looking to increase awareness and advocacy of DE&I within our member companies.

Education:

We welcome anyone who works as a trainer or education director/coordinator or anyone who routinely seeks or develops educational programs for staff members, such as human resource personnel. The committee meets three times per year to determine education needs of PAA membership, and plan educational programs and partnerships.

Helping Hands:

This is a very active, “hands” on committee. Committee members will develop, implement, and support new and existing community programs. The committee is asked to aide in fundraising efforts at various events to put towards programs. The committee will be asked to plan and execute several legacy programs as well as new ones regionally.

Legislative:

Committee members follow legislative issues in order to recommend policies and actions for the Association and assist in lobbying efforts where needed. The Committee makes recommendations regarding appropriate PAC expenditures. Committee members are also contacted via email for their thoughts and comments on issues as the need arises. Members are strongly encouraged to attend the annual NAA Advocate conference in March and the PAA Statewide Conference in May. The committee meets six times a year.

Membership:

This committee plays an important role in PAA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the overall member experience. This committee will evaluate member benefits and resources so the Association can best serve the members. They will also serve as a connection between PAA headquarters and the general membership.

Events:

This committee will help in the planning and coordination, sponsorship recruitment, and marketing of PAA events. Subcommittees will be formed for APARTogether: Trade Show and Education Conference, Maintenance Mania, and other events as needed.
