DESCRIPTION:
The CAM Certified Apartment Manager course will help you earn your CAM credential allowing you to demonstrate that you have the knowledge and ability to manage an apartment community and achieve the owner’s investment goals. The CAM credential positions you well for career opportunities and advancement. This program is recommended for community managers and experienced assistant managers and others in property management who are interested in advancing their career by earning a nationally recognized certificate.

Requirements:
To obtain the CAM credential, candidates must complete the following:
- Minimum of 12 months of onsite property management experience. (This can be obtained while taking the course; you will receive a provisional certificate until this requirement is met.)
- To upgrade from the provisional CAM to the full CAM once the experience requirement has been met, please follow these instructions.
- Successful completion of all CAM coursework (totaling 40 hours).
- Meet all examination standards within six (6) months of declaring candidacy.

After completing your five days of in-person CAM instruction, please view the instructions for scheduling your CAM V2 exam.
Please note: in Step 7, you must select "Testing Center or Remote Proctoring" for your test format. If you do not select this option, please reach out to Kyle Galvin (kgalvin@paahq.com) to have your application reset.
You must take your exam within 6 months of the first day of instruction. If more than 6 months elapses, you must pay a fee to NAAEI to renew your candidacy for an additional 6 months. After 2 years have passed since the first day of instruction, you must retake the class in order to take your exam.
