PLAYING ON THE COURSE

Team Scramble Format:

Each team member will hit from the teeing ground. The team will then choose which ball to play. The selected ball should then be marked. Each team member may then place their ball within one club-length of the selected ball, not nearer the hole. (On the putting green place the ball within 2 inches, not nearer the hole.) All players then play from this position. This procedure is repeated on each shot until a ball is holed.

Whatever condition the selected ball is in must be maintained when each player places their ball. (Example: If the selected ball lies in the rough, fringe, bunker, etc., and the distance of one club-length would reach the fairway.....all players’ balls must be placed in the rough, fringe, bunker, etc. You may not change the selected ball’s condition! If the selected ball lies in a bunker, the bunker may be raked before each player plays their shot.

On the putting green, be careful that a player does not tap in a putt before each team member has had an opportunity to attempt the original putt. Once a ball is holed, that score stands for the team!
