Pittsburgh Junk Company is a family-owned business founded in 2020 by Hugh Benson, who was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. We offer full-service junk removal to property managers, commercial businesses, and homeowners, including jobs of all sizes and types (estate clean-outs, one item removals, light demolition, hard-to-recycle items, and more).

Following a career in event marketing and door-to-door sales, Hugh started Pittsburgh Junk Company with a rented truck and a simple goal: make the process easy and pleasant for his neighbors. Now, with an incredible crew and small fleet of branded trucks, Pittsburgh Junk Company is a top-rated local service around town.

In 2025, Hugh’s wife, Dina Benson, joined the team, bringing 18 years of operations and HR experience to Pittsburgh Junk Company. Together, they guide the company's mission and goals. Hugh oversees daily operations to ensure top-notch service, while Dina focuses on strategic growth and creating a great workplace for our team.

As current residents of the South Hills, Hugh and Dina are proud to raise their family and run a small business in Pittsburgh.
