Refrigerant Transition R-32 & R-454B Class
Chadwell University will prepare technicians to safely handle refrigerants.
What is the Refrigerant Transition R-32 & R-454B Class?
This half-day class is intended to prepare maintenance technicians and management companies for the safe handling of low GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants, including those that are flammable and mildly flammable. Chadwell University will break down the EPA Toxicity and Flammability Chart, along with environmental considerations.
For the technician, we will discuss proper recovery and charging techniques, best practices, and additional UL requirements for A2L equipment. An optional quiz will be given at the end of class. Participants earning a score of 70% and above receive a Certificate of Course Completion. Presentation, materials, and testing are derived from the ESCO Institute Low GWP Refrigerant Certification.
Note: This class is in-person in the Lehigh Valley area.
