Join the Apartment All-Stars as they take over the state at the PAA Education Conference on November 15th, 2022, at the Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square.  The experience of having these nationally recognized speakers in one place will leave you feeling energized and ready to take on the leasing world.  The Apartment All-Stars have been working on providing uplifting messages to our industry for over 20 years.  If you have never seen a session with these amazing speakers and educators - or if you've seen them many times - please mark your calendars and attend this event.

The PAA Education Conference will begin at 8:30AM with open registration.  The Apartment All-Stars will speak from 9AM-12:00 PM, followed by a light lunch before breakout learning sessions in the afternoon.  Each of our PAA members will receive 6 Continuing Education Credits for attending this event.  Perfect timing for those NAA renewal credits!

Microaggressions:  A Barrier to Leadership

Microaggressions are an unstated element in the formal communication process, glossed over by the speed and pace of an urgent workplace. The widespread nature of exclusionary behaviors in organizations today signals the urgency for people with workplace privilege to develop awareness and empathy. For leaders to be truly inclusive, they first must be able to recognize these behaviors. This presentation will explore the definitions and examples of microaggressions, as well as explore communication theories to help bridge these gaps.
