Afternoon Sessions and Instructors:
Microaggressions: A Barrier to Leadership
Taught by Monica Frazier
Microaggressions are an unstated element in the formal communication process, glossed over by the speed and pace of an urgent workplace. The widespread nature of exclusionary behaviors in organizations today signals the urgency for people with workplace privilege to develop awareness and empathy. For leaders to be truly inclusive, they first must be able to recognize these behaviors. This presentation will explore the definitions and examples of microaggressions, as well as explore communication theories to help bridge these gaps.
Using resident intelligence to produce operational insights
Taught by Ofo Ezeugwu and Brent Howard
With deep understanding of the technology, the residential real state space, market research, and the power of branding - Ofo Ezeugwu, CEO and Founder of WYL, and Brent Howard, Director of Success, walk owners/operators through the ins and outs and best practices to better attract and retain their residents.
