PAA Maintenance: A/C Essentials

Focused on obtaining certification through HVACR Excellence

This course will be taught by Chadwell University.

A beginner level, 3-day virtual course, each session lasting 4 hours a day.

Objective: Develop an understanding of A/C system operations, component function, and refrigerant behavior to enable safe and effective maintenance and diagnosis.

Included with your registration: Study guide, materials, and certification exam through HVACR Excellence.

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM	Session 1 Temperature and pressure relationships, heat transfer concepts, refrigeration cycle overview
May 19
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM	Session 2 Properties of refrigerants and oils, system retrofitting basics
May 20
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM	Session 3 Detailed review of evaporators, condensers, compressors, and metering device
