- Lazy Bird Pricing: $55 (August 14th-August 21st) For Attendee Ticket ONLY, No Lazy Bird Pricing for the Maintenance Competitor Ticket
- ALL maintenance competitors must be registered by August 13th, 2025.
*The ticket cost covers:
- soft drinks and water
- beer, seltzers and featured drink
- entertainment
- the maintenance showdown cheerleading ticket
- additional tickets must be purchased for the river tubing and to participate in the maintenance showdown
What is PAA Rock the River and Maintenance Showdown?
PAA's Rock the River is a fun summer party to show our appreciation for you as members. PAA will provide the summer's hottest rental housing networking event. The event will feature the Maintenance Showdown where maintenance technicians will compete in a series of games to determine who is the winner! Get ready for food, music, maintenance competitions, and more! This is one party you do not want to miss!
- Food stations will be featured throughout the event
- Drink stations will include beer and seltzers, and carbonated beverages and water.
- River Tubing starts at 1:00 pm
- Maintenance Showdown will begin at 4:30 pm
- Networking and social time begin at 5:00 pm
Maintenance Showdown Competition Details:
Each maintenance technician will purchase a competition ticket through the registration page. Each maintenance technician will complete three skilled games as listed below in succession of one another. The fastest recorded time for the games will be crowned the winner.
ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE REGISTERED BY AUGUST 13th!
- Skill 1: Lock Change sponsored by Chadwell Supply.
- Skill 2: Drywall Repair sponsored by Sherwin Williams.
- Skill 3: GE Ice Maker Replacement sponsored by MHD.
A judge will begin a count down clock and each competitor will stop the clock buzzer set up at the end of Skill #3. Times will be started by the score keeper and ended when the buzzer is hit to complete the game cycle by the competitor.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT IF A STEP IS MISSED DURING THE GAME A 10 SECOND PENALTY WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR OVERALL TIME.***

Dress Code: Casual - This is an outdoor event, sunscreen, hats, and insect spray recommended!
Parking: Sickman's Mill has a free parking lot, but it can fill up quickly. Their team will monitor parking availability and direct attendees to the satellite lot (if necessary) and provide shuttle service to the event.
