Senior Housing Locator, Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC)

Daniel Lang is the Senior Housing Locator at the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC). He joined BCOC in 2021 as a Housing Locator, initially serving Category 1 Literally Homeless and Category 4 Fleeing Domestic Violence clients. He later transitioned into his current role, where he supports children, youth, and families at risk of separation or awaiting reunification due to homelessness or housing instability, as well as mental health clients preparing to transition back into the community.  As the Senior Housing Locator, Daniel is tasked with program improvement and outcomes such as creation of tenant education program and recruitment brochures and as always to contribute constant growth of the landlord pool. Born and raised in Bucks County, Daniel is deeply connected to his community and has a Liberal Studies Degree from the West Chester University.

INSTRUCTOR: Gale Schwartz

Director of Programs and Outreach, Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania

Gale Schwartz is the director of programs and outreach for the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania. She engages the diverse membership of the Housing Alliance to advocate for programs and resources to preserve and expand the supply of affordable housing. In addition, she provides training and technical assistance to advance promising practices to solve homelessness and prevent eviction at the local and state levels. Prior to joining the Housing Alliance in 2013, Gale worked in the behavioral health and early childhood development fields. She has a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
